Common Questions
How long does shipping take?
We process orders within 1-2 business days, and shipping typically takes 2-7 days via UPS or FedEx. Order at least a week before you leave and you'll have it in plenty of time. Need it faster? Email us at julee@travelsauce.com — we'll do our best.
Will the kit fit in a suitcase?
Yes — the kit ships in a compact box that fits inside a standard checked suitcase. Pack it in your checked bag, not your carry-on: the kit contains liquids (oils, sauces, vinegars) that exceed TSA's 3.4-oz carry-on limit. If you're driving, even easier — just toss it in the car.
Do I need to refrigerate anything?
No. Every item is shelf-stable until opened. You can pack the kit days before you leave and unpack at your rental whenever it's convenient.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
The full ingredient list is in the "See What's Inside" section above — please review it before ordering. If you have a specific allergy concern, email us at julee@travelsauce.com and we can confirm individual items. We can't currently customize kits to omit specific ingredients, but we're working on it.
Can I customize the kit?
Yes! Our fully customizable kit — The Curated Collection — is coming soon. Until it's live, just email us at julee@travelsauce.com and we'll gladly build a kit around exactly what you'd like. Our ready-made kits (The Weekender, Mornings Away, and A Week Away) come as-is, which keeps them simple and affordably priced.
What if I don't use everything?
We hope you put most of the kit to good use on your trip! Anything left over is small and easy to pack for the journey home — or you can leave it for the next guests or the cleaning crew.
